This is an intensive two-day course on the Preparation of Bill of Quantities (BQ) using MyCESMM (Malaysian Civil Engineering Standard Method of Measurement) for Civil Engineering works. MyCESMM was produced in 2011 by CIDB in collaboration with the industry players and is intended to be a national document that features the rules of measurement, definition, coverage and description of civil engineering projects for the use as a basis in the preparation of Bill of Quantities. Through the nationwide adoption of this standard, it is expected that the method of measurement for civil engineering projects for both public and private sector can be standardised.

The following supplementary CIDB Publications were also prepared and updated by CIDB Technical Committee and published in September 2018 as follows:

  1. Malaysian Civil Engineering Standard Method of Measurement Second Edition (MyCESMM2)
  2. A Guide to MSCESMM and MyCESMM2
